La Havana
Where to stay? Good question. There are a ton of Airbnb’s and hotels in the Havana area. El Vedado is a nice and calm area that is near to everything. Especially near to the Hotel Nacional, where I recommened everyone to visit their little museum (it’s free) or just order a cocktail sitting in their beautiful garden that has a great view of El malecón. Visiting their main dining room and having dinner is also a great experience. And their cabaret show Parisien is a must, it’s truely a great performance.
Or if your feeling fancy and have the money to book your stay there, go for it! It’s beautiful but expensive. The hostels near the area give you a look into the day to day life of the cuban people, a real look into their life, which is why I recommend them.
